El mundo del cine ya se prepara para lo que será los Oscar 2021, gala programada para el próximo domingo 25 de abril. Esta ceremonia tuvo que reprogramarse debido a la coyuntura que se vive en Estados Unidos por la COVID-19. De esta manera, la premiación más importante del séptimo arte se mantiene en proceso.
En medio de este contexto, el último viernes 19 de marzo se conoció que la Academia, mediante un comunicado, pidió a los nominados su presencia durante la gala. También, se informó que las videollamadas no serán viables durante la entrega de los Premios Oscar y, además, se pondrá en marcha todas las medidas sanitarias disponibles.
Cuándo serán los Oscar 2021
La edición 93ª de los Premios Oscar se llevará a cabo el próximo domingo 25 de abril. Durante esta gala, se reconocerá a las mejores producciones que se vieron entre enero de 2020 y febrero de 2021.
Dónde serán los Oscar 2021
Para este 2021, la entrega de los premios de la Academia no solo se realizará en el teatro Dolby de Hollywood, sino en un espacio abierto de la ciudad de Los Ángeles.
“Nuestro plan es organizar un evento íntimo en persona en Union Station en Los Ángeles, con elementos adicionales desde el teatro Dolby de Hollywood. Si su primera pregunta es: ‘¿Se puede hacer de forma segura?’ La respuesta es: ‘Sí, se puede’”, se lee en el texto firmado por los productores de los Premios Óscar.
